The steel grid plate, also called platform steel grid plate, is a steel product with square grid patterns primarily used for making steel structure platform plates and steel ladder step plates. The cross bar is typically made of twisted square steel.

Steel grid plates are generally manufactured from carbon steel with hot-dip galvanized surfaces to prevent oxidation. Stainless steel versions are also available. These plates offer ventilation, lighting, heat dissipation, anti-slip, and explosion-proof properties.
